HP & The Deathly Hallows

Post  tristo8 on Sat Aug 14, 2010 6:57 am

Comes out in 3D November 19. So syched for this. Have to wait for part 2 in July 2011 though.
Just re-read the last book to get me in the zone.

yeah its a cruel twist, but keeps the fans hanging on.

If you have read the books, the first film finishes with the scene from Malfoy Manor (apparently).

I just hope they get the 3D right on this, so the first action scene (10mins in) should be awesome.

My only attraction to the Harry Potter series is Emma Watson.

The books are really good and the movies aren't half bad.

If you do have free time you should maybe read the books, they draw you in.

the last session of the day.. lol
I just liked it. I havnt read the books but my sister, who has, said that nothing major from the book was left out of the film.
This is coming from a person who wasn't impressed with the last installment. So if you have read the seventh book then you should
enjoy part 1

That's June.
Let me just say this, the film ended like any other normal one. Before I got there I thought it was going to end on a scene full of suspense, but it didn't. It's worth to see it now mitch and then watch it again just before you see part 2. That's my plan

ok,so who has seen it?

I saw it over the weekend. While I enjoyed it (I have enjoyed all the films), I just feel that for this nothing really happened! Which is quite surprising considering they divided it into two parts! While there was some "dark" parts in the movie, I do agree with one reviewer, in that that it felt that half the movie was dedicated to Harry, Ron and the chick hanging out in a tent! All it did was set things up for the next movie and I don't know if they made the most of the extra time they got!

What do you guys think?

P.S - Alan Rickman so deserves the part as Snape!!!

I really quite enjoyed it crowley. I never read the book so I don't know what else was to be included. As you say, it was pretty much dedicated to the houcrux they already had. Would have been cooler if they went after another.
The funniest part in the movie has to be when they go to Gryfindors Hollow and there is that freaky dead woman.. haha
