If you want to check out It's Always Sunny, look for the episode called "The Gang Sells Out". It is in either seasons 2 or 3. It's a great episode and will be a good way to see if you like the show.

There are only four shows I continue to watch on TV.

Dexter, Nip Tuck, Californication and Lost

Love Dex & Cali. I bought Nip/Tuck Season 1-3 when they first came out and didn't see another season come out for such a long time so I lost interest. Is it any good after Season 3, Brad?

It's past it's prime, much like lost.

Still a gripping show.

Will prob download this and see what the fuss is about.

On a related note, has anyone seen Rome?

That was a great show, only went for 2 seasons and about Ceaser, Antony, Cleopatra etc etc.

If you havent seen it you should give it a go. Pretty violent as well.

I haven't seen it. I remember reading that Spartacus was an amateur version of Rome.

I have been watching it, up to about episode 6 but it is much more 'political' than Spartacus. All I've seen so far is PomPei and Caesar waging a war. I guess once the war starts it will get bloodier.

So I got around to downloading and watching Spartacus.

Wasnt bad. A lot better than I thought it was going to be. Took me a while to warm to the CGI blood and I really hated the first episode. It got better though and found myself enjoying it. The violence in it is really graphic! Particulary when they fight in the pit and that guy cuts off the gladiator's face and wears it (texas chainsaw anyone?) and when they crucify that guy after cutting off his dick. lol. Also there is a shit load of nudity and sex. lol, prob more males fully naked then women. While similar to Rome, they are 2 different shows and probably shouldnt be compared.

I wiki'd it and apparently they want to do a second season, but the main actor has health problems so they are going to do a prequel series first. Will look out for it in the future.

I have enjoyed this show and completed it in 2 days.
Once past the bad first episode it is great and with an interesting storyline.
But I've seen too much of Xena's tits for a lifetime.

Thanks Super for the recommendation.

I have the 2 seasons of Rome to watch after this.

This is a shame, the main guy wont be returning for the second series as his cancer has returned. They have begun looking for someone to replace him. In the meantime a prequel series will start in January.

Hey tristo, did u end up watching Rome?

No Crowley, its still on my to-do list. I have seen two episodes a few months ago, but will have to re-watch it to get back into it. Maybe tonight...

Wentworth Miller, the tattoo guy from Prison Break wants to take over for the main guy in Spartacus. Personally, I think Wentworth's on-screen brother, Dominic Purcell, would be a better fit.
