how about we join a full server or something and just invite everyone to our posse, get the trophy then disband and just play by ourselves

I'm gonna get this next week when darwin gets more and try it out.

Is it network errors or the host? I've had heaps of problems with all games trying to play online.

Last night i played street fighter with cink and had no problems. He has good connection.

Bali this game is great fun. Yeh the problems with online are a PITA but this is the first game where I've really loved the single player. I like all the little challenges and it isn't bothering me at all that it takes a while to complete them - I'm in no rush.

ok, so I have just gotten into this game (had visitors over the past couple of weeks so havent had much ps3 time at all) and I quite enjoy it.

Couple of questions

whats the best weapons to get? Is the sniper rifle any good?

Whats the best way to earn good money? Skinning animals and selling the fur?

Any tips apart from whats been said in the previous 8 pages?

cheers

I've got no idea about the weapons but being a lame-o I have found the regular purchase of medicine comes in very handy. You can pause the game when in a shootout or if animals are after you and use the medicine to restore your health

also bait is good. Attracts animals and you get easy kills

Great stuff, thanks for the tips. I just finished the bit where you get the gatling gun out of the mine, sounds like there is quite a bit to go!

Don't bother skining animals because it is pointless. You'll have to skin them for challenges and even that is boring enough. Completing even one mission will get you more cash than skining 20 animals.
Rifles are the best. Use them 90% of the time. Switch between Evans repeater and the bolt action til you get the buffalo rifle.

For hunting; you do know if you park your horse on top of the animal and press skin you don't have to wait for the stupid cutscene?

Cool tip. That does get annoying after a while, you should be able to skip it.

Yeah, it does get annoying. It is a bit difficult with bears though, except bears and horses are just waay too annoying to skin.
